Under the sea -Step it up

Today I have started the second step it up challenge of Under the sea.  I had to make a fish robot that you can use anything to make. So, I made my fish robot that can clean the ocean because I want my robot to make every ocean a healthy ocean as we don’t want our oceans to be polluted.

Here is a picture of my robot that I made.

I am astounded with your creativity under the sea robot. The features on your robot are really helpful to the sea creatures as it protects them from dying in polluted water. You did a job well done, Ka pai!

Hope you have a lovely day and a Merry Christmas!

  2. Kia ora Cosma,

What a good idea to have a robot that can clean up the ocean. Your robot kind of reminds me of a minion. Where did you get your design inspiration from? The sucking tube and the vacuum is a good idea. How often does the robot have to empty the rubbish? Imagine if your robot could turn the rubbish into something healthy and productive for the environment..

Thank you for including a blurb with your robot creation, it is always helpful for us readers to read what it is you are doing, how you did it and any other information you might think is relevant or important.

You should check out Jaime’s robot. You could even leave her a comment.

      1. Kia ora Cosma,

I love to eat fish too. My favourite is fresh, raw salmon and probably gurnard but there are lots of other fish I enjoy eating too. My grandfather is a fisherman so I often went out fishing with him. It was my job to get the fish and check it was a legal catch. Do you know what that means?

There are laws that say how big different types of fish need to be to take them home. That’s because we don’t want to be taking babies from the ocean. We want them to grow big and have lots of babies so that we can repopulate the ocean. Another law is we can only take a certain amount. Overfishing can mean we don’t leave enough fish in the ocean for other people.
        Have you ever been fishing?
